Telehealth & virtual visits
Prepare for and join a scheduled video visit with Dr. Christopher S. Burress. Please call or text the clinic first if a virtual visit has not already been arranged.
The check-in button opens Dr. Burress’s Doxy.me page in a new tab.
Appointment required: The waiting room does not schedule a visit and is not monitored for unscheduled medical questions.
Simple check-in
Your check-in takes place on the external Doxy.me page. Follow its prompts to enter the waiting room.
Choose a quiet, private, well-lit place with a reliable internet connection. Do not join while driving.
Enter your name when prompted, then allow your browser to use your camera and microphone.
Remain in the waiting room until Dr. Burress starts the visit. He may be finishing with another patient.
Be ready to confirm your identity, current location, callback number, and anyone else who is present.
Prepare ahead
Use an up-to-date browser, fully charge your device, connect to reliable Wi-Fi or a wired connection, and close unneeded apps and browser tabs.
Keep your medication list, pharmacy information, questions, and any requested home readings—such as temperature, blood pressure, blood sugar, or oxygen level—within reach.
Choose a private location and use headphones if others are nearby. Call before the visit if you need an interpreter, caregiver, captions, or another accommodation.
Pediatric visits: The child and a parent or legal guardian should be present unless the clinic has arranged otherwise.
Appropriate care
Telehealth can work well for many follow-up visits and selected new concerns, but it cannot replace every examination, test, or procedure. Dr. Burress may recommend office, urgent-care, or emergency evaluation based on your symptoms and location.
If you may be experiencing a medical emergency or feel unsafe, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not send private medical information through this public website or ordinary email.
